Established by the State of Missouri in 2003 as an incorporated Village and encompassing approximately 4,500 acres within the Cook Creek and Bull Creek drainage, Saddlebrooke provides the natural setting that all residents love. Saddlebrooke has a population of 309 and borders the Mark Twain National Forest and Busiek State Forest with all of their varied wildlife. Situated off of US Highway 65 between Springfield and Branson, the community provides easy access to larger city amenities while allowing residents the enjoyment of seeing amazing star filled nights and the sights and sounds of nature. The Village has many interesting and unique houses including 2007 and 2020 Home of the Year winners as chosen by 417 Magazine. Living in Saddlebrooke offers residents a rural feel and most residents own their homes. The public schools in Saddlebrooke are above average.
